Paul is a transactional lawyer dedicated to ensuring the successful outcomes of all his clients, consistently seeking to maximize value to all stakeholders.

Paul’s experience in corporate transactions began in the summer of 2012 when he completed a four-month internship in the Investment Banking division of New York City based, Enclave Capital. In addition to his work in investment banking, Paul researched and developed thorough equity research reports on investment opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa for publication by the African Sunrise Partners, a NYC based, African investment strategy firm.

Upon completion of his Bachelor of Commerce in the spring of 2013, Paul joined the Assurance and Advisory group at Deloitte LLP in Toronto as a member of the Financial Institutions audit group. Most of Paul’s work was dedicated to the audit of SEC registrants, and the corporate transactions in which those clients participated. 

Paul obtained his CPA, CA designation in the fall of 2016. 

Paul left Deloitte in August 2019 and enrolled in the University of Western Ontario School of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctor in the spring of 2022. 

Paul first joined Dale & Lessmann as a summer student in 2021 and returned as an articling student in 2022. He was subsequently admitted to the Ontario Bar (Law Society of Ontario) in 2023.

Paul is a member of the firm’s renewable energy and cannabis groups.
