Monika Drobnicki (she/her)


Monika is a partner in the Real Estate & Development group and focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, land development, secured lending and renewable energy.

Monika acts on behalf of real property owners, developers, investors, financial institutions and non-profit organizations, whom she advises across a broad range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail, office and multi-unit residential.  

Monika strives to give her clients practical advice to assess and mitigate risk at every stage of their real estate transactions. She regularly collaborates with internal counsel, planners, surveyors and environmental consultants to assists her clients in meeting their objectives.

Monika is involved in all stages of acquisitions and dispositions, including structuring transactions, negotiating agreements of purchase and sale and financial commitments, conducting legal due diligence, advising on day-to-day matters and providing sound advice when issues arise.  She regularly represents clients on land development matters, including on land assembly, municipal agreements and conveyancing.  In addition, Monika has significant experience working on a wide range of secured lending transactions, acting on behalf of both lenders and borrowers.
