David ist in zahlreichen Dienstleistungsbereichen tätig, u. a. in den Bereichen Technologie, Agrarindustrie, Gartenbau, Ingenieurwesen und Elektrodienstleistungen, Finanzen, Einzelhandel, Restaurants, Cannabis und Großhandel.

David arbeitet mit der Geschäftsleitung und ihren externen Unternehmens-, Steuer- und Wirtschaftsberatern zusammen, um die Gesetze mit dem Ziel auszulegen, praktische Geschäftslösungen anzubieten. Für viele seiner langjährigen Mandanten ist er zu einem vertrauenswürdigen Berater geworden.

Davids mehr als 20-jährige Erfahrung im Wirtschafts – und Gesellschaftsrecht umfasst die Strukturierung und Verhandlung verschiedener komplexer Geschäftsvereinbarungen, darunter Anteilserwerb, Kauf von Vermögenswerten, Gesellschafter-, Partnerschafts-, Joint-Venture-, Franchise-, Vertriebs-, Lizenzierungs-, Outsourcing- und Dienstleistungsverträge sowie Kredit- und Sicherheitsdokumente.  Darüber hinaus berät er öffentliche und private Mandanten in alltäglichen Geschäftsangelegenheiten. David berät sowohl kanadische als auch ausländische Unternehmen, deren Transaktionen häufig bedeutende internationale Aspekte beinhalten.  Er koordiniert ein breites Spektrum an regulatorischen Angelegenheiten nach dem Geschäftsabschluss sowie Umstrukturierungen und Rationalisierungen nach der Übernahme, um Mandanten bei der effektiven Integration kürzlich erworbener Unternehmen zu unterstützen. 

David berät außerdem regelmäßig Mandanten aus einer Vielzahl von Branchen in Fragen des Franchise- und Vertriebsrechts, einschließlich der Vorbereitung und Verhandlung von Master-Franchise-Verträgen, Gebietsentwicklungsverträgen, Einzel-Franchise-Verträgen, Offenlegungsdokumenten und damit zusammenhängenden Unterlagen und unterstützt Mandanten in Bezug auf die Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorschriften, den Erwerb und die Veräußerung von Franchise-Verträgen und deren Beendigung.

David hat auch viele Markeninhaber und lizenzierte Cannabis-Einzelhandelsgeschäfte in Bezug auf Cannabislizenzen, Markennamen und regulatorische Angelegenheiten beraten, einschließlich des Entwurfs und der Verhandlung von Lizenzverträgen, Beratungsverträgen, Darlehensverträgen und Sicherheitsunterlagen.  Darüber hinaus hat er bei der Gründung und Organisation von lizenzierten Einzelhändlern (einschließlich der Vorbereitung von Gesellschaftervereinbarungen) und beim Kauf und Verkauf von lizenzierten Cannabis-Einzelhandelsgeschäften geholfen.
