David E. Mende

Specializing in commercial litigation, David acts regularly for institutional and private lenders in secured and unsecured creditor/debtor relationships and insolvency situations and has delivered conference papers and articles in these fields. He also has extensive experience litigating and resolving commercial disputes involving all types of commercial contracts, real estate matters, shareholder disputes, employment issues, commercial landlord and tenant matters and collections.

Called to the Bar in 1982, David obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto (University College) in 1976 and his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1980. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the litigation and insolvency sections of the Canadian Bar Association and the Cambridge Club.

Born in Toronto, David enjoys living in the Beach with his spouse and two daughters.
