T. Douglas Brady

Called to the Ontario Bar in 1974, Doug has over thirty years of experience providing legal advice to clients in matters relating to real estate and employment law.

Doug's practice focuses on two main areas. Firstly, on providing advice to clients in matters relating to purchase and sale of industrial, commercial, investment and residential properties, secured financing for the acquisition of industrial, commercial, multiple-use residential and investment properties, construction finance, the acquisition of mortgage portfolios. Secondly, Doug is the head of Dale & Lessmann's Employment Law Group and, as such, his practice includes advising our clients on all employment matters including the preparation of employment contracts, occupational health and safety matters, employee termination and wrongful dismissal matters, as well as matters of employee discipline.

Doug completed both his undergraduate degree and his law degree at Queen's University. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Oakville Golf Club. Doug is a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Oakville. Doug has been listed as one of Canada's leading experts in Real Estate by Lexpert and has previously served as a member of the Canada Pension Plan Advisory Committee of the Federal Government.
