T. Douglas Brady

Doug has over thirty years of experience providing legal advice to clients in matters relating to real estate and employment law. He advises investors, developers and a number of Canada’s largest lenders on: the purchase and sale of industrial, commercial, investment and residential properties; secured financing for the acquisition or refinancing of such properties; construction finance; the acquisition of mortgage portfolios. Doug is the former head of the firm’s Employment Law Group, and continues to advise on a wide variety of employment matters including the preparation of employment contracts, occupational health and safety, employee discipline, employee termination and wrongful dismissal. Previously, Doug served the Government of Canada as a member of the Canada Pension Plan Advisory Committee.
