Practice Description
One of the founding partners of the firm and current Head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, David has extensive expertise in business and commercial disputes, with particular focus on secured creditor and mortgage enforcements, creditor and debtor remedies, renewable energy litigation, insolvencies and workouts, employment issues, shareholder remedies and director liability issues.
David supervises Dale & Lessmann LLP's commercial and residential mortgage enforcement practice, which handles a large portfolio of mortgages in default for one of Canada's largest mortgage lenders, and has significant experience in renewable energy litigation, as the firm has built one of the country's leading renewable energy practices with clients based around the world. For more than 25 years, David has acted for creditors, debtors, trustees and receivers in commercial receiverships, bankruptcies and workouts.
